Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal and financial data TAXit collects, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. It is maintained by the TAXit team and reflects the controls currently enabled in the product.

Data we collect

• Account details you provide when signing up (name, email).
• Transactions, receipts, and notes you upload to your workspace.
• Usage signals needed to run the product (login times, error logs).

How we use it

Your data is used solely to power your Evidence Cards, readiness view, and Tax Clarity Assistant. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers.

Where it lives

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Row-level security ensures each workspace can only be read by its owner.

Your rights

You can export or delete your workspace data at any time from Settings. To make a data request, email privacy@taxit.app.
